INFORMATION
- We are expecting 3000-5000 people at the event.
- NOTE: 696 is CLOSED. Please follow alternate routes identified at the bottom of this page.
- Viewfest will continue regardless of weather. Please plan accordingly.
- Parking is available in ANY zoo lot, but the Water Tower Parking lot directly in front of the zoo will provide best access.
- 8ft.Table, linen covering and 2 chairs ARE provided.
- Table location within the venue are at the discretion of Words of Hope 4 Life. Some tables may be positioned under tents on the grass. All locations will have equal visibility and all tables are under tents provided by WOH4L
- Electrical is not available.
- We encourage those planning to have a table to also provide giveaways and / or conduct an activity. Nothing that bounces can be given away due to zoo policies related to the animal enclosures.
- Those sponsors attending and reserving a table MUST arrive between 6:30am - 7:30 am on the day of event. We strongly suggest you arrive on the early end as we have over 160 sponsors to get into the zoo and situated prior to 8:00 am. NO cars are allowed into the Zoo, so all items must be carried in by dolly / cart. As a note, we have over 150 tables that requires set up the morning of the event. The earlier you can arrive, the better. Coffee and bagels will be available at no cost.
- When you arrive at the Detroit Zoo, please go directly to our ViewFest registration tent located just outside the zoo entrance.
- This is where you’ll receive your zoo access ticket.
- Plenty of staff will be on hand to greet you and help make this process as smooth as possible.
- Participants of ViewFest will begin arriving at 8:00am and the informal walk will begin promptly at 8:45am. Participants MUST be IN THE ZOO before 11:00 or they will be charged zoo access fees. It is recommended they arrive NO LATER than 10:30. Event will run until 12:30pm and tear down will occur from 12:30pm to 2:00pm.
- Participants and Vendors may remain at the zoo for the balance of the day (through closing), but all physical items as part of your table / activity must be removed by 2:00pm.
- A media kit with information you can post on social media as well as a Promotional PDF that can be downloaded will be available closer to the event.
